The two-minute trailer opens with a fictional press conference held by the President of the United States at the White House, while war-torn scenes of New York play in the background. The message is clear: Battlefield is back in the modern era. Fighter jets, tanks, and squads of soldiers clash in urban landscapes turned into brutal battlegrounds.

The official game description emphasizes an intense and immersive experience:

EA has also announced a multiplayer-focused event set for July 31, during which the first gameplay footage is expected to be shown. The game is already available to add to wishlists on digital storefronts.

While the trailer didn’t reveal the release date, trusted leaker Billbil-kun (via IGN) reports that Battlefield 6 is set to launch on October 10, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

On the official side, EA confirmed via social media that an Open Beta is coming. Players will be able to choose between official playlists with class-locked Signature Weapons or fully open loadout modes. More details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
