DaVinci Resolve 19 just rolled out a bunch of exciting new updates that are making waves across the board—whether you’re into editing, color grading, or audio production, there’s something new for everyone.

First off, the DaVinci Neural Engine has gotten a major upgrade. It’s smarter than ever with advanced AI-driven tools that can now separate dialogue from any background noise. Plus, it automatically rebalances sound levels during post-production, giving you more detailed control over your audio tracks. This means cleaner, crisper sound for your projects.

Then there’s the color grading side of things. The new ColorSlice six vector grading and Film Look Creator effects are game changers. These allow for more subtle color adjustments and the ability to mimic photometric film processes. If you’re looking to give your footage a rich, cinematic look, these tools will help you achieve just that—all within the software.

For the VFX artists out there, DaVinci Resolve 19 has stepped up its game too. There’s better support for complex object rotoscoping with the new MultiPoly tool, and improvements in material handling with enhanced USD tools. Plus, you can now directly import volumetric VDB files. This means more control and creativity with effects like smoke and fire—think more dynamic and dramatic visuals.

Audio tech is also getting a boost with the latest update. There’s full integration of native Ambisonics workflows and expanded tools for Dolby Atmos. This includes automatic binaural rendering from complex mixes, making it simpler to produce immersive audio landscapes for various formats.

For larger companies, the integration of Blackmagic Cloud with the new Organizations app is a standout addition. This makes it easier to manage projects and allocate licenses, boosting efficiency and collaboration across big teams.

And let’s not forget the live production tools. The enhancements to the cut page now support live multi-camera broadcast editing. This includes features like replay with speed control and new stinger transitions that smooth out live to replay transitions.

Latest version of this tool is pushing the envelope of what’s possible in post-production software. It’s packing complex AI tools and extensive workflow enhancements to help professionals create top-notch video and audio content.
