And Ferrari Luce has indeed received very different reactions: some see it as an intelligent vision of the future, while others feel it is too far removed from the traditional Ferrari image.

A New Audience for the Prancing Horse

Another interesting aspect is the type of customer Ferrari Luce may appeal to. It does not seem aimed only at the traditional collector or at someone who dreams of the loudest, most extreme Ferrari possible. It could also speak to a younger, more tech-oriented audience, one that is already comfortable with electric vehicles and interested in a more modern form of luxury.

This does not mean Ferrari is abandoning its history. Rather, it seems to be adding a new chapter to its lineup. Combustion-engine and hybrid Ferraris will continue to play an important role, but Luce represents a new direction designed for a market that is changing.
